Jhirna Zone Corbett

On the southern periphery of Jim Corbett, you’ll find Jhirna. And it is 16 km from Ramnagar. You can also enter through the Dhela gate. Though it is open for tourists throughout the year, the bookings are put on hold during monsoons. The topography constitutes deciduous trees coupled with Chaurs of which Laldhang Chaur is the most renowned. You can easily spot elephants, sloth bears, and deer. This makes this safari zone one of the most eye-catching spots inside the Corbett Tiger Reserve. There are many streams which are full of water during the monsoon. The water also stays in the aftermath. These spots act as sites for bird watching. There’s one Forest Rest House inside Jhirna (subject to availability) with only four rooms to let.
